"Long queues, okay toilets"
The queues were long, really long at times. The toilets were okay, not terrible, but they could definitely have been cleaner

"Decent Night Out, but Trust Your Instinct"
I went to a performance here it was just okay. Some of the actors were really strong and had great moments, but a few scenes felt a little flat to me. The sound was also hit or miss, so there were times I couldn’t catch everything clearly. I still had a decent night overall, but it wasn’t one of those shows that really stuck with me. I’d say if you’re curious, trust your instinct and go if it feels like your kind of thing.

"I was sitting all the way in…"
I was sitting all the way in the back row the sound was still really clear. I’ve been to other events where I could barely make out what people were saying from that far back, but here I could hear every word without straining

"Decent accessibility, but felt like an afterthought"
I went to one of the Leeds venues recently and the accessibility was okay overall, but definitely not perfect. The staff were helpful once we asked, and there was step-free access, so it wasn’t a disaster or anything. But some areas felt tight, and the toilets weren’t exactly easy to find. The signs could really do with being clearer too. Booking access seats online was more confusing than it needed to be, which made me wonder if they’d rather people just give up and call instead. It wasn’t a bad visit, but it felt like more hassle than it should’ve been

"Queues Were Definitely Slow"

"Surprisingly Comfortable Seats"
The seats were actually comfy, which was a nice change because apparently not every venue thinks people enjoy leaving with back pain. I sat through the whole show and didn’t have any back ache afterward, so credit where it’s due...

"Just a heads-up for anyone thinking…"
Just a heads-up for anyone thinking of going: the theatre itself is genuinely lovely, with loads of historic charm and a really beautiful interior. But my actual visit was disappointing. The seats felt really cramped, the staff seemed rushed, and the whole experience ended up feeling more stressful than enjoyable. It’s a shame, because the building is easily the best part, just don’t go in expecting a super comfortable or relaxed night.

"Getting There Was More Frustrating Than Expected"
I expected parking to be a bit of a hassle, but it ended up being worse than I thought. Finding a spot was a pain, and I figured taking the bus might be the easier option, but that wasn’t much better either. Overall, getting there was more stressful than I expected.

"Finally, some decent legroom"
I was expecting to be crammed in like usual, so I was relieved when there was way more legroom than I thought. My knees weren’t squashed for once, which made the whole show so much easier to sit through. I hate feeling stuck and uncomfortable, so this was a nice surprise. I’d happily go again.

"Super quick booking"
I booked my tickets way faster than I expected, which was a nice surprise. Everything went through smoothly and I was done in just a few minutes. Then suddenly I was like, wait, that's it? No stress, no endless steps, just done.

"Good show, but did anyone else find the bar slow?"
The show itself was fine and I had a decent time overall, but the bar service felt really slow. It took ages to get a drink, and the snacks seemed pricey too. The staff were nice enough, so I don’t think it was their fault, they just seemed rushed and maybe a bit understaffed. Curious if other people had the same experience or if it was just a busy night.

"Really appreciate the variety of shows"
I really enjoy browsing leedsheritagetheatres.com now and then, as there’s usually a good mix of plays, musicals, comedy, and family-friendly shows. Of course, not every listing is my kind of thing, but I’m grateful there’s always enough variety to keep it interesting. The programme changes regularly too, which makes it worth checking back. I’d happily give it 4 stars.

"I got there about 25 minutes before…"
I got there about 25 minutes before the show, getting in was super easy. The staff at the doors were friendly, the queue kept moving, and they scanned my ticket on my phone with no hassle at all. You know when clear signs just make everything feel less stressful? That was the vibe. We found where we needed to go right away, so it was a really nice, relaxed start to the night.

I had a good time at the show overall. The performances were really enjoyable and I’m glad I went, but I’m not totally sure the tickets were worth the price, or, I guess, maybe they were just a little more expensive than I expected...

"Made booking for Leeds Grand Theatre so much easier"
I used the site before booking seats at Leeds Grand Theatre, and it was spot on. I’ve been caught out with awkward theatre views before, so being able to check the photos and seat details first took a lot of the stress out of choosing tickets. It was easy to use on my phone too. We ended up with a brilliant view, and when we got there, everything was exactly as expected.

"I went to see a show…"
I went to see a show here recently and, yeah, the building itself is really lovely. It’s got that nice old theatre feel, which I always enjoy. The staff seemed perfectly fine too, no issues there. I just felt like the atmosphere was a bit quiet, honestly... not quite as lively as I was expecting, even before the show started. Maybe it was just the night we went, who knows. I still enjoyed the evening overall, but it didn’t feel quite as special as I’d hoped

"Clearer signs would really help"
I ended up getting lost because the signs weren’t very clear. I’m sure other customers would have the same issue, especially if they’re visiting for the first time. Better directions or more visible signage would make the experience a lot easier
